Why DIY spraying fails, and what to do instead
An off-the-shelf spray kills only the insects it touches, which means the ones already in front of you. It does not reach where they gather, and it does not reach the eggs.

Shop-bought spray: why it does not solve the problem
What you get is a fast drop in numbers, then a return about two weeks later. Anyone who has sprayed their own home knows that cycle.
Spraying the wrong way makes it worse
The problem is not just the return. Spraying near where the insects gather pushes them out into other rooms, and an infestation that was confined to one place becomes one spread across the whole flat.
How proper control works
Integrated control runs in a completely different order:
- Identify the insect first
- Find its source and entry points
- Choose the product and method that fit the case, such as gel, a growth regulator, a barrier or traps
- Measure the result on a follow-up visit
Where the difference really lies
It is not the strength of the product. It is the order of the steps.
