What a pest control contract costs a restaurant in Riyadh
It is the first question in every call. The honest answer is that there is no single figure — but there are known factors that set it, and knowing them changes how you read any proposal.

Why no figure is given over the phone
Anyone who gives a final price before seeing the site is doing one of two things: guessing a figure they will correct after signing, or pitching a low one to win the contract and then trimming visits or scope to make it back.
A chain's central kitchen and a two-table café are entirely different jobs. A number that fits one is meaningless for the other.
Five factors that move the number
This is what is actually calculated after the inspection:
- Kitchen and storage area — not the dining room, because the work concentrates back-of-house
- Number of visits per year — the single biggest driver of the price
- Current level of infestation — a clean site being maintained costs less than one being cleared first
- Timing — working after closing or overnight costs more than daytime work
- Number of branches — one agreement across several lowers the per-branch rate
The cheap offer that costs more
Compare two offers: 4,000 SAR a year for twelve visits, and 2,400 for four. The second looks a third cheaper.
But four visits a year means three months between them — far longer than a German cockroach's life cycle. So you pay for a programme that never breaks the cycle, then pay for emergency visits outside the agreement every time activity appears.
Work out the cost per visit, not the annual cost. Then ask whether an emergency visit sits inside the price. That is where the real difference shows.
What is worth paying for
Three things raise the price and earn it: a documented report after every visit, response between visits inside the price, and a working window that does not interrupt service.
And three raise it for nothing: more visits than your operation needs, pests in the scope that never appear at your site, and products marketed under brand names with no explanation of what they do.
