Routine disinfection schedule for healthcare facilities and nurseries
Disinfection without a clear schedule never gives a consistent result, it turns random and depends on staff remembering to do it. The fix is a written schedule, posted on site, that states what gets cleaned and when.

What gets disinfected, and when?
Daily: every surface hands touch constantly, including door handles, elevator buttons, reception counters, and shared nursery toys. These points carry the highest risk because they pass germs between the largest number of people.
Weekly: floors with a suitable disinfectant, full restroom disinfection, and waiting area seating.
Monthly: closed systems such as AC ducts and water tanks are checked and cleaned, since these spaces are not seen daily but affect the air and water quality inside the facility.
Why does documentation matter?
Every disinfection round should be logged with the responsible staff member's signature. During a health inspection, the inspector will not accept a verbal description, they will ask for the written record directly. The log also helps you catch a point that keeps getting skipped before it turns into a real problem.
